Cyridion Nsengumuremyi is a Holder of Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property, a Master’s in Business Law, and a Law Bachelor Degree. He is a permanent Trainer at the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD) where he delivers a course on Procedural Aspects of Intellectual Property, and a course on the Protection of the Child in the Digital age.

Cyridion Nsengumuremyi is member of Rwanda Bar Association and of the East African Law Society. He is a Founder and Senior Partner at innovationlex, a Law Boutique based in Kigali-Rwanda that specialises in Intellectual Property, Law & Technology. He involves mainly in litigation and arbitration of IP disputes. Moreover, he is a consultant in the fields of his specialization.

Cyridion is a member of other professional bodies that include the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators-CIArb (MCIArb). He is on the panel of domestic arbitrators of KIAC, and he is an Accredited Court Mediator in Rwanda.

He is fluent in English, French and Kinyarwanda and he has a working knowledge of Kiswahili.

Cyridion research interests are mainly in the field of intellectual property. He also researches in the domain of digital technologies through the lens of the rights of the child. He authored on Border Protection of Trademark, and his upcoming article is on Collective management of copyright in the age of digital rights management.
