Introduction
Research is part of the ILPD’s mission. ILPD conducts applied and policy relevant legal research that contributes to the further development of the legal system and the rule of law in Rwanda and the region. Over the past years ILPD has gathered significant experience in this area. In 2015 ILPD is conducting a research on “The impact of gendered legal rights to land on the prevalence and nature of intra- and inter-household disputes.” The research will cover 15 districts of the country in a period of ten months.
